About First Methodist Children’s Center
Our highly trained staff members are committed to providing a loving, supportive, and safe environment that meets children’s needs morally, socially emotionally, and physically while providing activities to help them learn. All of this is done while helping them develop a deeper connection to God.
You’ll find that each staff member is passionate and committed to working with each child to provide the best possible education and care. We know it takes a village to raise a child which is why our staff works with families to provide the stability that each child needs to thrive. You can have peace of mind when your child is in our care.
Our Programs
We offer programs for children as young as 6 weeks old through pre-school. All of our programs incorporate the Frog Street Curriculum to ensure continuity across the center. We also have chapel daily to foster each child’s spiritual growth.
Each program is geared specifically to each age group so that they can learn and grow. We enjoy watching your children grow and learn in a supportive environment.
Safety and Security
All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, specializing in infants and preschool children. Our teachers receive 24 hours of training throughout the year specifically for the needs of the children. You can feel safe with our staff since all teachers have had background checks and have been fingerprinted for safety. All of our classrooms and hallways are equipped with cameras and our hallways have secure entry points so you don’t have to worry when you leave your child with us.
